Case Details
This is a patient in her 40’s with previous breast augmentation in a submuscular plane performed somewhere else. She was bothered by her breast asymmetry and lateral displacement of the implants, especially on the left side. We performed an implant exchange with change of the implant pocket to the subglandular plane, and placement of acellular dermal matrix for better implant coverage.

Case Details
This is a patient in her 30’s with previous breast augmentation in a submuscular plane performed somewhere else. She was bothered by her heavy implants, wide breasts and wide areola. We performed an implant exchange with smaller implants and a breast lift with areola reduction to create and better shape and proportions to the breasts. She is happy and now can wear t-shirts without a bra as she wanted before surgery.

This is a patient in her 50’s with previous breast augmentation in a submuscular plane performed somewhere else. She was bothered by her severe breast asymmetry and very hard implants due to bilateral capsular contracture. We performed an implant exchange with larger implants, capsulectomy and placement of acellular dermal matrix for better implant coverage and potential prevention of recurrent capsular contracture. Her breasts are now soft, with a natural shape and more symmetrical.

This is a patient in her 60’s with previous breast augmentation in a submuscular plane performed somewhere else. She was bothered by her severe capsular contracture and breast shape distortion. She also had pain associated with the capsular contracture and hardening of the breasts. We performed an implant exchange with larger implants, capsulectomy and placement of acellular dermal matrix for better implant coverage and potential prevention of recurrent capsular contracture. Her breasts are now soft, with a natural shape and more symmetrical. We also performed an abdominoplasty at the same time.

This is a patient in her 40’s with previous breast augmentation performed somewhere else. She was bothered by hard and overfilled saline implants that was almost touching in the midline. She also tough the implants were too wide for her frame. We performed an implant exchange with smaller implants, capsulectomy and placement of acellular dermal matrix for better implant coverage and potential prevention of recurrent capsular contracture. Her breasts are now soft and smaller as she desired, with a natural shape more proportional to her frame.
