What is a skin pinch blepharoplasty?

So a skin pinche blepharoplast is basically a removal of skin only under the eyelash of the lower eyelid. We can also do a skin pinch of the upper eyelid, which is basically just removing the skin of the upper eyelid. Skin pinch blepharoplasties are a very short down time procedure. They can be done under local anesthesia, both for the upper eyelid and the lower eyelid. In the lower eyelid, we will remove a little bit of skin that starts bunching up when they smile or is just a little redundant under the eye and the same thing on the upper eyelid, just that skin that hangs over and sometimes come over the eyelashes. And that’s a very rewarding procedure because it does a lot of rejuvenation of the eyelids with a very low down time, which is usually about five days for suture removal, seven to 10 days for bruising and swelling resolution.
