The before and 2 days after my extended deep plane face and neck lift surgery.
It is a total reset of the neck contouring including: trimming of the deep fat, large digastrics, large submandibular glands and a platysmaplasty.
The recovery includes 2 weeks of visible bruising, stitches and swelling. Residual mild swelling can last for several weeks.
The central neck skin and lateral neck and face skin stays partially numb for several weeks after surgery, and the face feels tight, but there is only mild pain and discomfort.
We follow all patients closely in the postop period to optimize healing and the return to normal activities.
We also offer protocols for maintenance of the results overtime.
