Meet Dr. Miotto

BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Gabriele C. Miotto, MEd is an internationally recognized plastic surgeon specialized in aesthetic surgery, especially of the face, eyes, nose and breast. She is also an expert injector of facial fillers, neuromodulators, and performs fat grafting injections for facial rejuvenation. She sees patients at her private practice in Atlanta – ME Plastic Surgery.

Dr. Miotto brings a unique international perspective with a female view of aesthetics. Her individualized approach is key to the beautiful results she gets. Due to her training in Brazil and the United States, the two largest countries for plastic surgery, she understands the universal desire we have to feel and look as good as we can.

Education

Dr Miotto is proudly Brazilian-American. She is fellowship-trained in aesthetic and oculoplastic (eyelid) surgery and certified by the Georgia Composite Medical Board as well as the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery. She is a “Membro Titular” of the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery since 2009. She is also certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and earned a Masters’ degree in Education with an emphasis on health profession education from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Academic Background

Dr. Miotto is a plastic surgery educator and author, and she has been recognized more than once in the Top 10% of doctors at Emory Healthcare in patient satisfaction. She is currently an Adjunct Faculty at the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Emory University School of Medicine, former Assistant Professor and Associate Program Director of the Emory Aesthetic Center Fellowship Program.

She is a peer reviewer of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal – ASJ, and one of the Assistant National Secretaries for the USA of the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS). She is also a member of the Editorial Board of the Aesthetic Surgery Journal Open Forum.

Beyond Plastic Surgery

Dr. Miotto enjoys improving her patients’ lives beyond the initial procedure by encouraging them to understand the role of lifestyle, exercise and diet for a beautiful and healthy life.

Dr. Miotto shares a love for her profession and her office with her husband Dr. Eaves. She has three amazing stepchildren and enjoys practicing yoga, learning about nutrition and holistic medicine, and spending time in nature with her family and their rescue dog. She loves going back to Brazil whenever she can to visit her family and enjoy the beautiful beaches.
