Facial harmony, beauty, preservation of normal facial anatomy, integrity of individual facial traits, enhancement of facial contours – these are all goals of aesthetic facial surgery. ⁠ ⁠ For this patient in her 60s the goal was to restore her facial contours especially at her jawline. I performed the extended deep plane facelift, platysmaplasty and fat grafting to the cheeks and under eye hollowing. I also did botulinum toxin and fillers to the glabella lines (“11s”) and botulinum toxin to crow’s feet. She looks amazingly refreshed and herself 6 months after surgery.⁠Remember – plastic surgery is not perfection and the results vary from person to person. We do not stop the clock, we do not remove all wrinkles, the skin needs ongoing care. Maintenance of results with minor procedures may be needed along the way, but self-care and self-love is even more important for someone to look and feel beautiful over time.⁠
