⚠️GRAPHIC CONTENT⚠️ A modified bullhorn technique is my favorite way to perform a lip lift.
During the procedure, the excessive upper lip length (the distance between the nasal base to the vermillion border) is shortened leaving a hidden incision under the nose, in the natural crease we have between the nose and the cutaneous upper lip.
The incision is closed in layers with absorbable sutures and removable sutures, so there is no tension at the suture line. Sutures are removed within 7 days post procedure. The scar is almost invisible 6 months after surgery.
