A lip lift is such a powerful procedure to rejuvenate not only the lips but the whole face.
As we age the upper lip elongates and loses volume, the upper lip gets hidden and loses its outward “flip”. This created an aged look in the lower face.
A lip lift corrects both the excessive elongation of the lip and everts the hidden upper lip for a permanent “lip flip”. A lip lift is also a wonderful technique to correct lip asymmetries and improve the overall lip shape.
It can be done awake in the office such as the one I am doing for this beautiful patient in the video, or as part of a full facial rejuvenation surgery. Sutures are removed within a week of surgery.
